parallels falls short on many usb devices. no support for usb2 yet. gps and 
flukenetwork devices in many cases are not recognized. there are certainly a lot 
of hardware compatibility problems with virtualization (not necessarily just 
parallels...probably with vmsware too). it's just a matter of time before these 
issues are ironed out.
