The only recent controversy I remember is when the "MiniStore" was  
added and turned on by default. I don't remember off hand what  
version that was. It sent Apple data on what the user was currently  
playing in order to "display related songs, artists, or videos". Data  
was not kept by Apple, and this feature is now off by default.
