[X4U] fellow luddites?

I am planning to stay put with respect to my Mac hardware, software and 
OS.

I am happy with Tiger, and everything works..I have no burning need to 
upgrade anything.

Yes, there will be faster machines and whizzier software, but I've been 
on that merry go round for 14 years and my art has NEVER hinged on 
having the very latest.

I'm wondering if there are others here who are also going to stay put 
with what they have right now, and what pitfalls, if any, await us?
