For larger NAS solutions take a look at Yellow Machines (www.yellowmachine.com) or Buffalo NAS devices.  Both are fairly highly rated, particularly the yellow machine, and reasonable (~$1000 or less for 1 Terrabyte of storage, RAID 5, if you want).
