I agree. Looking at the Intel web site
<http://www.intel.com/products/processor/core2XE/index.htm> that
describes the Intel(r) Core™2 Extreme Processor, there's no reference
to Apple's advertised "2.8GHz Intel Core 2 Extreme."
Information is lacking on the Apple site as well.
