[X4U] Corrupted font in finder?

What fonts do you have loaded in your System/Library/Fonts folder?

There should at least be the bare minimum 5 fonts:

LastResort.dfont
Monaco.dfont
Keyboard.dfont
LucidaGrande.dfont
Courier.dfont
Geneva.dfont
