When I first puchased my D70, I did a lot of jpg images because I didn't have any easy way to open the RAW formated files. I really regret that now! The shutter machanism in my D70 died at about 154,000 images and I had to have it replaced. I think actually I got more exposures out of the camera than would be expected before a major failure. I currently use CS3 and Camera RAW import 4.1 which is just a wonderful combination of power and ease of use. The quality of the camera has some affect on the image, but the quality of the photographer makes the image. Jens Jens Selvig ...Lost in Montana...
