[X4U] Strange Folder

All of a sudden I've got a folder that is located in 'users, my name,  
Library' . . . that, by itself, opens after every boot; restart or  
cold startup.  This started after one of my grandkids had been using  
the intel iMac running 10.4.8.  I'm assuming some Finder Preferences  
file or a startup file got corrupted; but don't have a clue which  
one.  Got any suggestions?
