Small G3 iMac footnote:
Been running 10.3.9 (for years...) on my son's G3 400MHz iMac DV 
without *any* issues. 384MB RAM w/ upgraded 20GB HD and access using 
an Airport card. He does all the teenage things. MSN, iTunes, CD's, 
Simpson DVD's etc.
