Greetings all, I've just installed the latest AirPort update (it lists in the Software Update log file as: Installed "AirPort Software" (4.2)) Now all of a sudden I'm unable to log into my Mac upon reboot. I get the usual boot progress screen, which usually gets to the point of reporting that it is "Initializing Network", and then the boot progress screen disappears. Usually this is followed by the appearance of the Login Window, but ever since I installed the airPort update, I no longer get the Login Window, but the screen remains blank forever (although the mouse works, and if I press the Power button, I get a window asking me if I want to Sleep, Reboot, etc. I'm running OS X 10.3.9, on a 900mhz iBook. I've discovered that if I turn off the wireless network in my house, that the Login Window will then appear on bootup. So that's one way of fixing things... it would be better, though, to be able to boot with the wireless turned on, since other people in my house are frequently using the net. Thanks for any help you folks may be able to offer. Erik Norvelle Universidad de Navarra, Pamplona, Spain
