No, it is not. Only if you damage the system or what you install damages the system does replacing something "void your warranty" with Apple systems. Of course there's no warranty on the non-Apple part you install, but provided you or it don't break any of the Apple parts, the rest of the system is still under the manufacturer's warranty.
