Run the Apple Hardware Test CD that comes with your Mac.  If it shows  
no problem with your third party hardware, they have to help you.

If they still are not willing to help, contact Customer Relations.
To reach that department, call
1-800-275-2273 and ask for customer relations.
If you get an automated voice, ask for the operator, and then as for  
customer relations.
