based on just that data, I'd agree with you.

However, factor in the cost of mission-critical apps I use, the balance 
goes the other way.

Plus, it's not good for me to mix processors in my 3D work as the image 
quality varies slightly from PPC to Intel...not good in a render farm 
sitch.
