[X4U] Mac locks up when attempting use file sharing

I'm  drawing a blank on the specifics at the moment, not there on  
that computer.
But it's a dual G4 processor,  1GB ram

A completely stable and reliable computer, used for many tasks all  
day long.   And works great, except for when attempting to using file  
sharing.
