[X4U] Can this be done? Multiple DATA CDs > DVD?

Well, I couldn't get cdrtools to install, but I tried Disk Utility  
and CD Session Burner, neither of which would allow me to burn  
multiple sessions to a regular DVD, but I did read that you can burn  
to a DVDRW.  I was really hoping to get this to work, but it looks  
like it will take someone more skilled than me to answer the question.
