Wait - at least a few weeks as a new 15" MacBook Pro with LED lighting is rumoured to be in the works for release next month. Usually I go for the step down from the fastest processor - it seems that there's a significant premium to be paid for the top speed processors. RAM is your friend - especially with image editing. Max it out. Spend the $s (euros, rand, pounds, yen, whatever) you save by not getting the fastest processor on RAM. Fast hard drives help too. At the potential expense of drive longevity, go for drives with higher RPM and better disk caches.
