Yes...WDS is what I set up with 2 Airport Extreme base stations. One station is main, and the other is remote, and they share the same WEP Key, and wireless network name, and internet connection dished out by my router which is doing the NAT from cable modem. Originally, I could not find an explanation of the way to configure this in the Apple Help files. Being logical (?), I originally gave them different network addresses manually. That lead to 3 hours of fiddling, followed by a good nights sleep, followed by a new approach. I picked an address within range and gave it to both of them (because they are sharing the same internet connection it seemed worth trying) and it worked. Explaining why this should work is not something I can do. Maybe someone can. If I did it incorrectly, and should change it, maybe someone can explain how to do it. Hardware details are noted above. Everything is working just fine as far as I can tell. So long for now, TOM
