Ah, internal MODEM. I didn't get that from your original post, either. I have a Dual 2.0GHz G5, machine model PowerMac7,2 (system profiler sez); not sure if it's a Rev 0 because I'm not sure when it was first released (I got it deeply discounted from an Apple store nearly three years ago, it was their display model -- not sure how long it was on their floor before it was sold to me). Anyway, mine has an internal modem (also System Profiler): > Modem Information: > > Modem Model: MicroDash > Interface Type: USB > Modulation: V.92 > SKU Name: UCJ > Hardware Version: 1.0F > Firmware Version: APPLE VERSION 2.6.6 > Driver: InternalUSBModem.kext (v2.6.6) > Country: 20 (Canada) It SAYS USB, but I am 100000% sure it's internal; all I see is the jack in the back. It definitely does not hang off the computer the way the current models do. ~Linda
