[X4U] Network problem

Sorry about not including a subject in my last post. Not sure if it  
will even hit the list. :)

Here is my problem.

When I click on the "Network" icon in the side bar of my finder  
window I get this message:

The volume for "Network" cannot be found

I am running a new MacBook Pro OSX 10.4.10. This happens whether I am  
connecting to my network wirelessly or via ethernet cable. I tried  
repairing permissions which didn't bring any happiness.

Anyone had this happen?
