I kept my G4 speakers and use them on my G5, with the use of a device called
the iFire by Griffin. It's discontinued, but you can still sometimes find
them on eBay. It plugs into a Firewire port, and then the speaker connector
plugs into the unit, and voilà, you have baseball speakers on your non-G4
Macintosh.
