[X4U] persistent icons in side bar?

Maybe you could make a folder on your hard disk, with aliases to the folders
on the external disks in that one folder, and then THAT folder wouldn't
disappear? I don't know if the aliases would maintain their reliability when
media is ejected regularly or not.
