Jonathan, You might have a problem with the power supply. I had a problem with an OWC enclosure used for Time Machine that I just could not figure out. The drive mounted but was not accessible. Disk Warrior and Disk Utility did not help. I took out the two hard drives and installed them in my Mac Pro and they worked just fine. I finally called OWC and the tech suggested returning the power supply for a replacement and the new one got the enclosure to work again. Just a thought.
