I did a backup last night before I went to sleep when all still worked and I was possible to wake the G5. I'm back to the iMac 2.8 with the HD from the G5 in an external casing via a FW cable. The only thing is that all the icons are scrambled. I've a 30" monitor, and this is a 24" iMac.
