After slogging my 17" PowerBook through airport security last January, I can see the appeal of the MacBook Air. It's not meant to be your primary computer; it's meant to be your traveling computer, on which you can run Office and check your email and surf the Web. Nothing more. It's not MEANT to replace a PowerBook, or a MacBook Pro, or a MacPro. It's for people who want portability, lightweight, something between a MacBook and an iPhone Touch.
