[X4U] Hard Drive Recovery Service Needed

Help!  My hard drive in my G5 iMac just went out.  It's a 500 GB drive  
that's only about 2 months old, but there are hundreds of pictures on  
it that my wife doesn't want to lose.

The drive does not show up in Disk Utility at all.  I put it in an  
external case to check it, and it does not seem to be spinning up,  
just makes a little noise, sounding like there is not enough power to  
spin it up.  It does seem to make a beeping sound every once in a while.


Can anyone recommend a recovery firm that I can take or send it to?   
I'm in the Los Angeles, CA area.
