Mazel tov! Enjoy!

Your printer takes expensive Canon ink cartridges. About $14 each!
Replacing all 4 can cost a lot!

And if you do any sort of moderate printing, you will be replacing
them often.

Meritline has excellent compatible cartridges for about $2.30/each
for color and $3.11 for higher capacity black cartridge.

Your printer takes these cartridges:

PGI-5 (black)

CLI-8C (cyan)

cartridge.html

CLI-8M (magenta)

cartridge.html

CLI-8Y (yellow)

Using Meritline's cartridges you can replace all of your printer's
cartridges for closer to $10, instead of $60 from Canon.
