When you burn with Windows software, you can add data ("sessions") to the CD/DVD until it's "closed out" or "finalized". When you finalize/finish/close it out, what amounts to an "end marker" is written to the disc so that no more data can be written. Without the end marker, the Mac OS cannot read the disc. Windows computers can. I don't know what software was used to burn the disc, but whatever it is, there should be instructions with it -- in the Help if nowhere else -- about "finishing" or "finalizing" or "closing out" the disc. peace, Linda -- PC: Personal Computer.
