[X4U] Arbitrary naming

I have a digital frame that accepts different media. I have about 150 images
in it. However, the software which has a slideshow option only shows the
images in their name order. This gets tiring each.

Is there either a slideshow program that would work with a digital frame (I
doubt) or a program that would arbitrarily rename files in a folder? This
second option would allow me to change the names (and thus order) every once
in awhile.
