[X4U] RSS reader for 10.3.9?

I downloaded RSS Owl and Vienna..both apps' versions which are  
supposed to be for Panther, but neither work; they quit as soon as  
they launch. At least RSS Owl cites lack of some component of Java  
version 1.5 or higher.

googling has told me that 1.5 or higher won't work or isn't available  
for Panther...

And I haven't found any free RSS readers for Panther via googling,  
but I"m hoping somebody here knows of and can recommend one to me?
