A few years ago CS Premium sounded like a really great idea. One slight problem, I'm perfectly fine with running old versions of everything except Photoshop. At the time I moved to CS Premium I was upgrading every other release or so. Now thanks to Adobe Lightroom and my increased use of Photoshop I really need to upgrade every release. At the same time I've gone from spending largely equal time in everything except Illustrator (I almost never use it), to most of my time in Lightroom and Photoshop. I've been wondering if it is possible to upgrade just one component of a Creative Suite Bundle, and then upgrade the whole bundle every other release or so. An interesting question about the article might be, what percentage of people that own Mac Pro's do not own Adobe Applications. I suspect most Mac Pro's have at least Photoshop on them.
