That would be un-(modern)-Apple-like. With software, anyway. Magsafe 
connectors and micro display ports aside, they are generally 
world-benefit minded. They do have a bottom-line to consider, so 
they're not as open as some would like, but they're not too bad. 
Certainly nothing like M$.
