Hey, Bill; yeah, I've restarted/shut down a couple times since installing NO and its patch, just in the normal course of using my Mac.. I am not 100% sure about the Java; what version do you have, or know to be the latest? FWIW, I am using Tiger, and I saw no requirement of Leopard at the download site... thanks! zc On Jan 2, 2009, at 11:15 AM, William Scammell wrote: > i just updated to patch #6 after seeing your email. > > it *seems* a tad faster starting up. > > have you done a full shut down and restart? > > i'm guessing your version of Java is updated as well. > > -bill > > > On Jan 2, 2009, at 10:08 AM, zapcat wrote: > >> I recently installed this version (the latest) onto a G4 Mac Mini, >> and it seem slower than previous versions..anyone else >> experiencing this? >> >> zc >> > > > > William Scammell > bill @ wscd.biz > vox: 781-956-3548 > fax: 978-594-5290 > > Accept risk.
