OK - I'll try that. My Mini is a Core-Duo Intel model & my MBP is a Core2-Duo Intel. In the past, I have moved the physical hard drives, with all the software already installed, from one computer to another (were Power- PC models) and that always worked OK. The procedure you outlined is somewhat akin to that. Thanks.
