By opting out, you are setting a cookie on your machine for whatever  
web browser you are using...

if you routinely delete cookies like I do, then you are forever  
having to remember to opt out.

(I do keep a few cookies permanently, about 6 total. The rest get  
deleted every time I quit Safari.)

I for one do not like this method so it seems my only option is too  
avoid yahoo groups...

No big deal to me though...
