[X4U] Anybody having issues with the quicktime release?

I saw that there was a new version of QUICKTIME available so I  
downloaded it and installed it.

My system is now acting strange. Windows that are open (finder) pop  
up to the foreground blocking what ever window you are working in.  
Say Safari (or MAIL) and all of a sudden a finder window pops up for  
no reason I can see. You do not loose anything (so far) but it is  
disconcerting.

Anyone else notice this or am I the only one? How to fix it?
