Look for the export function in Excel or Numbers and export the data to 
a text file in comma delimited format (unless your data has commas in 
it; if so, use another format that works with your data).
I am rusty in Excel and have not used numbers, but most apps such as 
these do support export to a text file for the very purpose of moving 
data to another application.

Then, in Address Book, import your text file.
