[X4U] Mobile Me - deletes old calendar events

I am using MobileMe to sync 2 Macs and an iPod Touch.  It keeps trying  
to delete calendar events when used from the Mac running 10.4 (and  
therefore mac.com instead of mobile me).  Are there settings somewhere  
to defeat the "feature"?
