[X4U] Pixelmator v Photoshop

Anyone here who uses both and who can say whether Pixelmator is as  
fast as, faster, or comparable in speed to Photoshop..


I realize that Photoshop has tools which Pixelmator does not; I'm  
just inquiring about Pixelmator's comparitive speed.

I have a demo version of Pixelmator, but I'm using it on an older G4  
which doesn't support all of the core image functionality which  
Pixelmator uses...

My guess is that a fairer comparison would be on a newer (intel- 
based) Mac.
