[X4U] iPhone alternatives that Sync well with Mac?

I have a work provided BlackBerry Curve with Verizon.

Their new BlackBerry Desktop app syncs with iCal and Address book.

I have successfully tethered it to my Mac with the BB supplied USB  
cable. I cannot get it to tether over Bluetooth.
