[X4U] MAIL.app question

I use MCAST. What can I say I have little or no choice.

The problem I have is that comcast's email severs do not play well  
all the time. For whatever reason the comcast server will go offline  
and I cannot get them online again unless I stop mail and restart it,  
then it works fine.

I just cannot get COMCAST to online status (once it goes offline) .

  Can someone give me a hint on how to get it back online without  
recycling mail.app ? I highlight comcast and say go online and nadda.

Any other ideas are welcome.

G5 Silver dual 2.6GHZ and 6G memory
