Thanks. Did you try the Grey Server DVD on a non-mini? I suppose I could always get around it by installing on an external drive and then cloning to the iMac target for Server . . .but that seems like a lot of trouble. Heck . . .for that matter I've got a copy of one of the demo version DVDs that Apple ships . . .all it needs is a Serial Number . . .so unless the serial that comes with the mini is 'special' so it only works on the mini it should work fine on the iMac.
