[X4U] AppleJack Experience

I am running a PPC G4 powerbook (10.4.11) with 2 GB of installed ram
For whatever reason, the machine was just going so slow that maple  
syrup drips faster in the winter from the tree than this Mac.
I did all the usual stuff. Checked the disc, repaired permissions,  
tossed cache files etc etc etc.
Still slow.
Remembered I had applejack installed but had not used it for long  
long time.
Reviewed how to used and ran it in deep clean mode.
Machine is now speedy once again!
Just sharing.....

PS Also ran memtest. 8.72 hours after starting, all seems fine. Ran  
it from within applejack
