[X4U] iTunes password

It's probably looking for your iTunes password or your MobileMe password. I'm guessing that even if you never went to the store on the iPad that the iPad knows about your iTunes account. My iPad will give me the little badge on the store icon whenever there are updates . . .so it must be checking in with the mothership in the background. Not sure why it happens when you go to Maps though . . .
