[X4U] Need WiFi for iPad to work

I got that stick today and it will not work.  I get the message that  
the cable for USB Ethernet is not plugged in.  I tried the cable and  
the stick directly in the USB.
If I add a profile I get the message that nothing is selected.  I  
don't have one for my own, however I see some others from around.
