[X4U] Strange iTunes question

I just upgraded my PowerMac G5 2x2 to a brand new 8-core 2.4Ghz Mac 
Pro.  I could swear my iTunes music library sounds "richer".  Am I 
imagining it, or am I really getting noticeably better quality sound? 
The speakers are the same.
