I have had a 4-bay Drobo unit just over a year and have had no problems. Filled it with 2 * 1 Tb and 2 * 500 Gb drives and have had no problems running continuosly attached to a MacPro on my desktop and using it as a Time Machine backup volume with OS X 10.6. Bought it from a company called Transparent Computers in the UK. Neil > >Shoot.
