Don't get me wrong, I totally respect your point of view, but what you call "lack of being production ready" I call "willingness to not get bogged down with needlessness backwards compatible". Just look at what this has done to other popular OSes. The fact the OSX has no problem with dropping old applications or technology and move forward, is a *good* thing in my view, not a bad thing...
