[X4U] Missing track numbers in iTunes Library

Actually, the track number is attached to the song title much as the dougscript does it; it's at the beginning of the filename and separated from the title by a . or underscore. But since musorg sees this as a track number and iTunes apparently doesn't see it or sees it as irrelevant, the prepended numbers are stripped from the filename when iTunes Adds it to the library and/or copies it to the Media folder. But yes, if I could get iTunes to read that prepended information as part of the title, there wouldn't be information in the track number column but for all practical purposes the albums would be correctly organized.
