I'm in rural Kansas - the closest Costco is a 4 hour drive. I do have a local PC dealer that is able to get me 24" Acer monitors in the same price range you are talking about. I've bought several and have been extremely happy with the quality. I can get 4 of them for the price of Apple's 24" LED display.
