Looks like I will have a Snow Leopard partition when I upgrade to Lion. I have some old AppleWorks files and I have some pricy apps that I only use occasionally, so upgrading to new versions makes no economic sense for me. Apple was really, really lucky that Transitive Corporation's QuickTransit software (re-named Rosetta) had been developed so that they could move almost seamlessly to Intel chips.
